Challenge
Users depended on manual requests and administrators to retrieve information from several systems. ISED needed a more direct way to access cloud-based spectrum data, interact with information, and generate reports.
What was done
- Conducted primary and secondary research, stakeholder engagement, usability studies, heuristic reviews, and accessibility testing.
- Created customer journeys, service blueprints, task flows, user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Designed WCAG AA compliant interfaces and requirements for automated access to spectrum information and reports.
- Coordinated the nationwide Spectrum Cloud User Trial and analyzed feedback to guide design changes and launch readiness.
- Led collaborative design activities with users, product managers, designers, developers, and program stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment.
- Supported structured content and reporting workflows using Adobe Experience Manager and Azure DevOps.

Outcome.
The project introduced a self-service portal for spectrum data access and report generation, reducing dependence on manual administrative requests. ISED recognized Tony's contribution to the national user trial and platform launch in 2023.
