Phoenix Web Application and Online Services Portal
Challenge
Federal Judicial Affairs needed to modernize an internal web application and online services while maintaining Government of Canada interface, accessibility, and development standards.
What was done
- Reviewed and redesigned the Federal Judicial Affairs Phoenix application interface and proposed modern templates for navigation, headers, footers, sidebars, and page layouts.
- Created flow maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, graphics, UI specifications, and style guidance.
- Ran usability testing and incorporated business use cases and task analysis into the interaction design.
- Applied Common Look and Feel and WCAG requirements across proposed templates and production interfaces.
- Worked with designers and developers to implement the new interface in a VB.NET environment and release it to production.
- Reviewed related systems and recommended reusable patterns for a more consistent experience.
